An Estrogen vaginal cream or oil is different from over-the-counter lubricants and moisturizers. While these products may offer temporary relief from vaginal dryness, using estriol addresses vaginal discomfort at its source, addressing the estrogen loss that causes this common menopausal symptom. So it does more than temporarily improve symptoms - it may actually restore your vagina's elasticity and lubrication with continued use.

If a three month trial of progesterone plus proper diet and supplements of magnesium and Vitamin B6 do not relieve hot flashes or vaginal dryness, then a low dose of natural estrogen may be helpful. All the available evidence we have so far indicates that estriol is the safest estrogen to use to control menopausal symptoms, and it may even be protective against breast cancer. If you need to supplement some estrogen, you can use a natural estriol.

In our country it has been labeled as a weak or ineffective estrogen and difficult if not impossible to obtain. Actually it is not weak if given in adequate doses. A dose of 2 to 4 mg is the equivalent of .6 to 1.25 mg of conjugated estrogen and is just as effective. It has been available in Europe for many years. Importantly, estriol does not lose its unique identity, as does estradiol. It remains estriol. 

Estrogen oil Ingredients: Carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) seed oil, Cannabis sativa (Hemp) seed oil, Oenothera biennis (Evening primrose) oil, Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) kernel oil, Vitis vinifera (Grape) seed oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E) oil, Estriol, Sorbic acid, Vanilla oil 

Suggested Application: Two pumps on hand or finger* to be applied vaginally. 2 pumps = 1/8 teaspoon = .625 ml = 1 mg Estriol USP. 
Use the least amount possible to control symptoms. Use in conjunction with a natural progesterone crème.

*We provide a medicine syringe that may be used for insertion if you choose. It was not designed for this purpose, but seems to work to deliver the oil directly to the tissues of the vagina. Use 1/2 full- 0.6 ml.
